“Custom Post Types and Taxonomies in WordPress”

If you want to learn more about Custom Post Types and Taxonomies and how these hierarchical (category-like) or non-hierarchical (tag-like) structures can be used in WordPress, then this is the session for you.

Bio:

Brad is a co-host on the SitePoint Podcast and an Advisor on the SitePoint Forums. He was also one of the original co-hosts of the WordPress Weekly Podcast and still joins the show on occasion.

Brad has been developing websites for over 12 years, including the last three, where he has focused on open-source technologies like WordPress.

Brad is a computer programmer and tech junkie who enjoys exploring technology and sharing his knowledge and experience with others.

Brad’s past presentations, on various WordPress topics, include WordCamp Mid-Atlantic, Montreal, and New York City. He is also the organizer for the New Jersey WordPress Meetup Group.

Along with all of this, Brad has been busy writing as the co-author of the upcoming WROX book “Professional WordPress“.

Announcing WordCamp Raleigh

Welcome to WordCamp Raleigh!

The inaugural event of what we hope will be a fixture in the calendar of WordPress enthusiasts across the Carolinas and the Mid Atlantic.  We are excited to be organizing what promises to be a great event in the WordCamp schedule.

We will be announcing the date and confirming the venue in the next few weeks.  We are already lining up some great speakers that are guaranteed to get you buzzing!  Check back regularly as we update the event schedule and speakers gallery.

Are you interested in speaking?

If you are interested in speaking at WordCamp Raleigh please contact us through the form provided under Become a Speaker under the Speakers menu item above.  Please send us the proposal for your session.  We will review each proposal and make a selection based on the best fit to audience interests and highest quality experience.

Sessions will be planned for 45 minutes (including  Q&A) to allow for time between sessions – if you feel your talk necessitates an exception to that length let us know and we’ll consider it.
