We have another great addition to our Speaker line-up for WordCamp Raleigh, and are happy to announce Dan Milward, Founder/Owner of Instinct.co.nz, the makers of (amongst other things) the world-famous WP e-Commerce Plugin, as a Speaker for WordCamp Raleigh – 2010.

Bio:

Dan is the man that started Instinct Entertainment over 7 years ago, and since his school days wanted “to make games for a living”. His creative agency based in Wellington started as a traditional design agency that did marketing jobs for corporate clients, but has evolved and is now focused on the development side of several niches including mobile gaming technology, Facebook, and WordPress.

Dan’s company was the first to design a freely downloadable shopping cart plugin that allows users on the WordPress platform to sell their products via Paypal or Google Checkout. The WP e-Commerce Plugin has been downloaded over 445,000 times and has over 10,000 paid upgrades.

Dan recently started GetShopped.com which is built on the WordPress multi-user platform and allows users to get their store online in minutes.

Dan’s past presentations, on various WordPress topics, include WordCamp New Zealand, Australia, and Indonesia. He was also the MC for WordCamp New Zealand.
