For those of you visiting Raleigh for the first time or who don’t regularly travel to Raleigh, you will find a beautiful city that has undergone a recent downtown transformation.\u00a0 Central to this transformation is the area around the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel and the neighboring Raleigh Convention Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The area, Fayetteville Street, extends from the historic State Capitol<\/a> at one end, south to the newly completed Convention Center and Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts<\/a>.\u00a0 Along the way you will find distinctive restaurants and bars, impressive skyscrapers mixed among restored historic buildings.\u00a0 Central to this historic area is the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel,\u00a0 with its beautiful open atrium, contemporary design, and award winning amenities.<\/p>\n
