Corey Freeman has been working with WordPress since she was 12 years old, and now runs Headway101.com which trains people to use headway themes, and develop and design client websites.

We are pleased to announce that Hal Goodtree will be speaking at WordCamp Raleigh 2013. Hal will be speaking about Power Content for Publishers in the Power Users track.

Hal Goodtree is the editor and publisher of CaryCitizen and more than two dozen other websites including AmericanTobaccoCampus.com. Since 2009, Mr. Goodtree has been intimately involved in community publishing revolution. He’s been a featured speaker at WordCamp RDU, WordCamp Richmond and WordCamp NYC. CaryCitizen is a Knight Foundation Fellowship winner and has been written about in the Columbia Journalism Review and The New York Times.

WordCamp Raleigh 2013 Update

Planning for WordCamp Raleigh 2013 is going great! We’ve got some speakers and sponsors lined up and will be announcing them shortly. There are still spots to fill so if you’re interested in speaking at WordCamp Raleigh or would like to become a sponsor, please let us know!

WordCamp Raleigh 2013 will follow the same schedule as it has the past three years. Over the course of a day and a half there will be 24 sessions, split up into 3 separate tracks – Users, Power Users, and Developers. Saturday will be a full day of sessions starting with registration at 8 am and lasting until 5 pm with a couple of breaks and a complimentary lunch included. Sunday will start a bit later and have 2 sessions per track with a break and a keynote presentation.

Like all WordCamps, WordCamp Raleigh’s main goal is to get as much great WordPress information out to the local community as possible. Attending WordCamp Raleigh is your chance to meet local WordPress users of all skill levels and cram as much information as you can in one weekend. Welcome to WordCamp Raleigh 2013

We are pleased to announce the dates and location for WordCamp Raleigh 2013.

This year WordCamp Raleigh will be held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November. WordCamp Raleigh will be held at the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University on Centennial Campus. We are very pleased to be hosted by NCSU at their state of the art Centennial Campus. It’s a great location and NCSU are big fans of WordPress and all thing open source.

Over the coming weeks the organizers will be working hard to create a schedule packed with great sessions from some incredibly knowledgeable presenters from the world of WordPress. We’ll post announcements about the schedule as we have them so hang in there!
